Consumption of Cannabis is something controversial almost everywhere in the world. There is a very distinct social stigma attached to it, and thus smokers tend to be more rebellious, unique, and quite peculiar in their idiosyncrasies.
You may wonder where exactly I'm going with this. Fashion is undoubtedly the metaphorical clay in which we, as individuals, mold into something which expresses our beliefs and opinions. People who smoke weed normally have different and interesting thoughts and beliefs then your average, law-abiding citizen. Thus I think it's fair to assume that a fashion conscious smoker would have a style which would, at the very least, stand out.
p.s 'fashion identity' was a bit of a brain fart :P
I don't think that's the case any more, pot-smoking is mainstream, everyone does it. Not all alternative-minded people dress weird, and not all weirdly-dressed people are alternative. I (for example)dress crazy & have dreads; yet I don't smoke and am conservative. I try not to operate on stereotypes.

Do you partake in the use of marijuana? If so, there is a whole different sub-culture which you have yet to explore, with it's own fashion identity
No, I don't smoke, but that wouldn't prevent me from exploring the "fashion identity" of those who do... Suggestions?
